The Building Fairs Brno is, based on the assessment by the European Building Industry Federation, the only building fair of international renown in Central and Eastern Europe with a high proportion of industry professionals (69%) among its visitors. Within Europe, it has been established as one of the 5 biggest fairs in the industry for many years. It is a prestigious event of a global importance, with some 1500 exhibitors coming from all over the world, including most of the industry leaders in the domestic as well as world markets.
The number of visitors usually approaches one hundred thousand, thousands of foreign visitors come to Brno from all the advanced countries of the world every year.
The Building Fairs are made up of four relatively independent sections.
The IBF building fair is the largest of them, covering practically all the industry’s areas – construction projects, construction trades and technologies, building materials and products, building machines, building constructions and many more.
The SHK BRNO international trade for sanitation, heating, air-conditioning and building automation presents the latest trends in sanitary engineering and bathroom fixtures and fittings, and a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers of heat engineering, airing technique and air-conditioning systems, fittings, piping, pumps and other technical facilities in buildings display their products here. The development of the project covers also nomenclatures related to ELECTRICITY, such as lighting technology, electric installation and integrated systems of buildings.
The information about innovations and latest trends of development of the modern housing is available at the building centre EDEN 3000. All the year round, assembled fully equipped houses are on display here. The centre also includes a sample room of building materials and a consultancy centre for housing and construction, including financial support.
The main topics of the upcoming fair will be the “dwelling stock repairs“ and the "green energy".
